Beach Knoll overlooks Back Beach and the beauty of the famous Sandy
Bay Harbor of Refuge. One block toward Main Street is Front Beach, a
family beach protected by a lifeguard. Another block beyond are the
galleries, restaurants and shops of Rockport Village and Bearskin Neck.
Our north side faces another open area where summer Sunday band concerts
and the July 4th celebrations are held. Ours is the best vantage point.
In
addition, the Beach Knoll Inn serves as the perfect base for day trips,
by car or train, to nearby Boston, Gloucester, Salem, Marblehead, Newburyport,
Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts. Popular shopping and recreational
activities in scenic southeastern New Hampshire and Maine are only an
hour's drive north.
